RUNOMI will host the next IMISCOE Research Network event in collaboration with the Centre of Migration Research and Centre of Excellence in Social Sciences on 13–14 November 2025 at Radboud University, Nijmegen. The event is on the Future of Work: Labor Markets and the “Migrant worker” in Light of Technological Transformation: an Interdisciplinary Dialogue.
During this two-day seminar we will discuss 13 selected papers written on the topic of the future of work. We also welcome keynote speaker Piotr Lewandowski – funded by Centre of Excellence in Social Sciences. The paper discussion is divided in 4 thematic blocks:
- Digital skills and adaptation to technological change 1: chaired by S.A. Mantu
- Labour shortages, (skilled) migration and automation: chaired by Paweł Kaczmarczyk
- Digital skills and adaptation to technological change 2: chaired by Stefania Marino
- Technological transformation of work, migration, regulation and control: chaired by Anders Neergaard
